Had a great time, and yes, might as well say it.... Vance is Ellen Degeneres' brother. She even opened for them way back when. But the Cold was the feature and they kicked ass.  | The Cold 1981 TV Special The Cold was New Orleans' greatest band. This clip shows them at their peak during a 1981 concert at the hallowed Jimmy's Music Club. The band was comprised of five extremely talented musicians, including Vance Degeneres (the more talented sibling of Ellen Degeneres who created Mr. Bill and was a correspondent for the Daily Show).
