 | THE BLACK HOLE fan promontage preview trailer "The Black Hole" 1979 by Walt Disney Films This was regarded as the last big special effect production to be made under the "old studio system." All of the elaborate special effects were created within the Disney studio and not farmed out to outside special effects companies. It stars Maximilian Schell, Robert Forster, Joseph Bottoms, Yvette Mimieux, Anthony Perkins, and Ernest Borgnine. The voices of the main robot characters in the film are provided by Roddy McDowall and Slim Pickens. The plot was inspired by Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, filmed by Disney in 1954. Alan Dean Foster novelized the screenplay. The film was nominated for cinematography and visual effects Academy Awards and was notable for being the first Disney film not to have a universal rating, due to mild language and scenes of human death never seen in a Disney production before. This film led the company towards experimenting with more adult-oriented films, which would eventually lead to the creation of its Touchstone Pictures and Hollywood Pictures arms to handle films considered too mature in nature to carry the Walt Disney label. | | The Black Hole 1979 TV trailer An original 1979 television trailer for the big-budget Walt Disney science fiction extravaganza "The Black Hole", directed by Gary Nelson and starring Maximillian Schell, Anthony Perkins, Robert Forster, Joseph Bottoms, Yvette Mimieux, Ernest Borgnine, and the vocal talents of Roddy McDowall & Slim Pickens. | | THE BLACK HOLE '79 Sci Fi Movie Posters and Stills A Selection of Original Movie Stills and posters from The Black Hole (1979) Starring: Maximilian Schell, Anthony Perkins,Robert Forster, Joseph Bottoms, Yvette Mimieux, Ernest Borgnine - from the archives of www.moviemem.com | | TV Commercial Bevrijdingspop 2011 by HARLEM LEGACY TV commercial voor het grootste bevrijdingsfestival van Nederland, Bevrijdingspop Haarlem 2011 op 5 mei 2011.
