The film is a sequel to the 1987 Academy Award-winning film Wall Street, and the first sequel Stone has directed. Michael Douglas will reprise his role as Gordon Gekko in the film. The film will also star Shia LaBeouf, Josh Brolin, Carey Mulligan, Eli Wallach, Susan Sarandon, Vanessa Ferlito and Frank Langella in supporting roles.
