Regarding your post... Here is the point I am trying to make about the chip. First of all, it would have to be 100% global. We can't say the mark is the chip, and that only applies to hi-tech countries. There are 1 billion people in the world living on $1 a day in 3rd world countries. There are billions living in homes without running water and electricity. US bankers may have ambitious goals, but that does not mean they speak for God. I do not believe what-so-ever that technology is the mark of the beast. Secondly, I could go out tomorrow and have a RFID or Verichip implanted with all my banking, personal info, and GPS tracking. How is this in and of itself accepting the mark of the beast? What if I just want to do it because I tend to lose my wallet daily and I get tired of worrying about CC fraud. I could get the chip, live by the Gospel, and preach the Good News of salvation. Am I doomed to spend an eternity in the lake of fire because I elected to use hi-tech electronics instead of a plastic ATM card? People had these same wary ideas when cash was set aside for use of personal checks. There must be much more than just a chip. It must be an open and conscious decision to accept what God prohibits.
