Michael Fox recreó el primer spot. Los productores de "Volver al futuro" decidieron festejar los 25 años de su estreno con el relanzamiento de la trilogía, en alta definición, y nadie mejor que Michael Fox para promocionarla en YouTube. La versión remasterizada, que llegará a los hogares en Blu-ray, será presentada el próximo martes en el "Scream Awards", un festival de cine dedicado a los géneros fantásticos, de horror y ciencia ficción, que se celebra desde 2006 en el teatro Griego de Los Angeles. El primer trailer circuló por los cines de Estados Unidos durante el verano de 1985 anunciando la primera parte de la saga, que costó U$D 19 millones y que terminó recaudando U$D 210 millones, convirtiéndose en la más taquillera del año. Ya con la trilogía consumada, la remake fue rodada de nuevo y marcó la reaparición de Fox, dos décadas después, personificando a Marty McFly, el papel que lo catapultó definitivamente al estrellato de la mano del director Steven Spielberg.
