 | I met Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar) from Heroes This weekend on march 8th at megacon in orlando florida I was able to get the chance to meet Adrian Pasdar who plays Nathan Petrelli on Heroes. He is the 4th Heroes actor i have gotten the chance to meet. I might get the chance to meet "Peter" next weekend at Wizard World Los Angeles. I am there for work though and may not be able to find the time. |
 | Adrian Pasdar Birthday Project - 2008 This project started on March 14th. It was a Friday afternoon, around 4pm. After checking the calendar, I posted a message on Vote Petrelli (one of my favorite Heroes LiveJournal communities) and savenathanpetrelli.com. I asked fellow PasLovers about how can we celebarte Dear Buckshotwon (aka Mr. Adrian Pasdar)'s birthday. At the beginning, I had no idea at all. While driving home, I remembered the movie "Love Actually". There is a scene between Mark (Andrew Lincoln) and Juliet (Keira Knightley) on Xmas Eve. So I thought we could do that too.The idea was well received among fans. However, during the first few weeks, things went slowly. It was until the last week (Apr. 19 - 25), pictures poured in. Here I want to thank JimStakowski for helping me collect pictures from CSNP (Comité de Soutien de Nathan Petrelli) and heroes-france.com. Also thank you for recommending the Kool and The Gang song. This vid was created by Windows Movie Maker and Camtasia Studio. There are certain things I wanted to do, but the tools don't allow me to do. For example, I tried to make the opening texts look exactly like the one from Heroes Pilot. However, the closest title animation Windows Movie Maker has is "Scroll, Perspective". (Just like those dated openings of Star Wars movies. It looked cool back 20 something years ago, but it's 2008 now.) Also thanks to gloriatraveler for giving me suggestions on the transitions between clips.Well, I am aware of (at least) one spelling mistake in this vid. I didn't keep the project file. It takes time to fix it. So please, all my English teachers + CosmicAvatar, please forgive me.It's a pleasent experience to organize this project. Such an incredible collective effort.  | Adrian Pasdar The Man.- Adrian PasdarAdrian Kayvan Pasdar (born April 30, 1965) is an American actor and film director, known for playing Jim Profit on the cult TV series Profit, for his roles in Near Dark, Mysterious Ways and as Nathan Petrelli on Heroes, and for directing the feature film Cement.At the age of 19, he auditioned for a role in Top Gun. Director Tony Scott was so impressed that he wrote the part of "Chipper" just for him. This led to bigger roles in Solarbabies (1986), Streets of Gold (1986), and Kathryn Bigelow's cult vampire movie Near Dark (1987), with Pasdar in the lead role of Caleb Colton. Other major roles include Vital Signs (1990). Pasdar got his biggest break in movies, when he starred as a beautiful woman opposite Julie Walters in the British movie Just Like a Woman. In 1992, he left Hollywood and returned to New York, working as a cashier for room and board, while taking the occasional small part, such as Frankie in Brian De Palma's Carlito's Way (1993).Adrian Pasdar wrote and directed the short film Beyond Belief and directed his first feature film, the art-house neo-noir Cement, a contemporary re-telling of Othello, in 1999.
