I sensed his shyness and wondered if he needed a break. I asked him if he would like to sit and chat. Relieved, to be out of the spotlight, he said, "I'D LIKE THAT", and we became immediate friends. Geoffrey was, FAMOUS AT STUDIO 54. With his height, you could recognize him from anywhere in the room and everyone loved him. Today, whenever I'm out in the city with Geoffrey total strangers come up and give him a hug. It's a little startling, especially for him. I'm 5'10" and they always ask if I'm his bodyguard. I've gotten used to it; after all, they're just trying to get HIS attention.He's is a wonderful and special man, mentor and a really inspirational friend. When you're with Geoffrey, one minute you're walking down Broadway and suddenly find yourself, "SKIPPING ON DOWN, THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD." AMAZING!!!
