The days of releasing just one music video for a song seem to be over....First Britney did it, and now Lady Gaga is premiering two different music videos for Judas this week. One will air during the Thursday May 5th episode of American Idol, and the other is a 7-minute clip that will air during E! News on that same night at 7PM eastern. We hear the video, which was co-directed by Gaga herself and choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson, cost $10 million to produce! Ryan Seacrest said on his blog today that E! will also air an interview with Gaga in which she tells Giuliana Rancic about her life, music and the uproar surrounding "Judas. Gaga has been pretty secretive about what the video will be about, but from what we've gathered, she plays Mary Magdalene, and Norman Reedus plays Judas Iscariot. Gibson told Billboard the vid is about shock value, adding, Ultimately, it's a story about oppression; a story about following your heart and the glory of being free." Gaga tweeted a pic with info about the upcoming vid today, which portrays her on a motorcycle, followed by several others behind her on an open freeway.
