 | Goodbye Horses - Q Lazzarus This is the original cover sleeve of the 'Goodbye Horses' single, so people can see that it is a woman singing. The picture is of Q Lazzarus. I too, initially thought it was a man singing, but knowing that it is not, does not detract from the fact that the song is amazing and powerful. The song lyrics and composition by William Garvey (who died in 2009) and sung by Q Lazzarus. Actual lyrics are :- GOODBYE HORSES He told me, "I've seen it rise, But, it always falls. It's pretty simplistic in it's verses. The 'Goodbye Horses' lyric is clearly a metaphor. There are no horses in the song. Basically, it's the mind we're talking about here. The song is track two on their 1976 album A New World Record and was the final single to be released from the band's LP until September 2006 when Surrender was released from the expanded reissue. 'La Dama y la Muerte' acaba de ganar el Goya, "premio que sentimos como el mejor empujón para tener suerte el domingo", explicó Raúl García, uno de los productores de la casa granadina Kandor Moon que hizo realidad la animación de Recio. "Para el domingo estaremos todos juntos. Nos reuniremos en casa de Antonio (Banderas) y saldremos juntos -quizás con unas copitas antes ¿por qué no?-, y haré lo de la alfombra roja con Antonio y Melanie", reveló Recio.
