A Superman Theme Song Parody, sung to the tune of the One and Only Superman Theme Song, quite possibly the greatest theme song ever composed. Photos from: www.pdfoto.com, http www.morguefile.com, http en.wikipedia.org www.picfindr.com, http www.sxc.hu, and http Superman was my first theme song, in a long line of Theme Song Parody Homages. Superman is one of the greatest icons in history. He is an ideal. I loved the movies as a kid, and thought the comics were amazing. I still remember how crushed I was when he died in the books, how elated I was at the whole Four Superman Rebirth storyline; I really liked Superman. Christopher Reeves was just the total embodiment of that character and I still can really only think of him as the Man of Steel himself. Superman, Kal-El, Son of Jor-El, is sent as a baby from the collapsing Planet Krypton to Earth. He crash lands in Smallville where Ma and Pa Kent find him and raise him as their own child, Clark Kent. He matures and becomes very aware of his super-abilities: Super strength, super speed, heat vision, icy cold breath, and near invincibility unless he goes near Kryptonite. He decides to protect Earth, his new home to use his powers for Truth, Justice, and the American Way. Lex Luthor is a diabolical madman bent on ruling the world and, subsequently, the ultimate destruction of Superman or anything else that would dare to stand ... | | CARS 2 movie trailer official 2011 CARS 2 movie trailer official 2011 Star racecar Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) and the incomparable tow truck Mater (voice of Larry the Cable Guy) take their friendship to exciting new places in "Cars 2" when they head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world's fastest car. In this film, Superman battled Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman) and his creation, a solar-powered evil clone of Superman called Nuclear Man. Unlike the previous three movies, which were produced by Alexander and Ilya Salkind, the fourth movie was produced by Golan-Globus' Cannon Films, in association with Warner Bros. | | Unforgiven - A Greatest Fight Scene - Just before he is about to be shot and killed in cold-blood by William Munny (Clint Eastwood) in the film, "Unforgiven," the Sheriff (Gene Hackman), another violent and brutal man, says, "I don't deserve this,...to die like this. I was building a house." In the midst of a great modern western, certain troubling questions are presented. Is there truly a difference between "good" violent men and "bad" ones, or will they all in up in "hell" together? Can the "unforgiven" find any sort of redemption through violence and brutality. Strange paradoxes exist in the lives of such people and the world they have created. The film, "Unforgiven," is truly great for its story, directing and acting as it deglamourizes violence in a film genre known for doing the opposite. | | Behind Enemy Lines trailer Behind Enemy Lines is a 2001 thriller war film directed by John Moore and starring Gene Hackman and Owen Wilson. Its fictional plot is centered on the story of uncovering a massacre in the Bosnian War of 1992-1995 by an American naval aviator. The movie bears some resemblance to the experiences of former USAF Captain Scott O'Grady, who was shot down on June 2, 1995, over Bosnia. He managed to survive for six days before being rescued. He reportedly filed suit against the producers of this film for defamation of character and making a film about his ordeal without his permission. The characters and events the film portrays are, however, almost entirely fictional. O'Grady never entered populated areas, interacted with civilians, or was pursued by Serb forces. In this respect, the film more closely resembles the experiences of Royal Navy pilot, Lt Nick Richardson, shot down over Gorazde on 16th April 1994, whose story is told in the book No Escape Zone. | | Crimson Tide Speech The speech given by Captain Ramsey (Gene Hackman) in the movie, Crimson Tide. | | The Royal Tenenbaums Trailer (2001) Trailer of The Royal Tenenbaums narrated by Alec Baldwin.
