She was featured regularly during the '90s on the covers of Vogue, ELLE, and Marie Claire. She has often been compared to a young Sophia Loren for her stunning resemblance and her natural beauty. Amadei suffered from the eating disorder bulimia for seven years, and sought help after passing out at a photo shoot. She now travels to schools to share her experience.
