Jeremy Schaap, author of Triumph: The Untold Story of Jesse Owens and Hitler's Olympics, sat down for an interview on the television show Books of Our Time with host Michael Coyne the assistant dean of the Massachusetts School of Law to discuss the incredible Jesse Owens and his development in becoming the worlds fastest man. Schaap states that Owens' exhibited immense raw talent for speed. This talent allowed Owens to be the fastest man in the world to set world records. With the help of his couching, he was able to perfect his form in events such as hurdling and join the United States Olympic Team.
