 | The Truman Show (1998) - Never forget I'm not a big Jim Carrey fan when it comes to his comedies (they're just too over the top for me) - his serious roles, however, won me over. And to this day I can't picture anyone else playing Truman Burbank the way he did. As I consider "The Truman Show" to be more of a drama rather than a comedy (even though there are lots of humorous scenes throughout the movie) I originally thought about using a song in a minor key to accompany the video. However, as I chose the scenes I wanted to include, I realized that none of the songs were long enough, and moreover they all created an atmosphere that contained too much sadness and too little hope, joy, and anticipation.
