Fittingly, his final scene was with his on-screen love interest of 16 years Victoria Wyndham, and the final line of dialogue he spoke as Mac (adjusted to coincide with the show's then-upcoming silver anniversary), "Twenty-five of the happiest years of my life, thanks to you, darling," was addressed to her Rachel. |
